The Lord has blessed all of us at Shoal Creek Primitive Baptist Church to reach out to our community and this is what we have been doing.
The Church was informed by Clayton Elementary School in Canton, GA of a needy family who during the summer, while their children were out of school, routinely ran short of food. Shoal Creek members prayed for this family and took up food donations in order to help them. We do not know this family but we thank the Lord for all of our blessings and are reminded of Proverb 3:9 KJV: Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
When the school year started back, Shoal Creek Members prayed, asking the Lord to direct us to another opportunity to reach out to our community. We felt, once again, directed to assist Clayton Elementary School. Members donated school supplies and we are so thankful that we had the ability to do this. 1 Chronicles 29:13 KJV: Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name.
Shoal Creek members once again began praying for another opportunity, one to assist our community and bring honor to Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We decided to help The Hope Center in Woodstock Georogia by doing a baby bottle collection. The Hope Center is a women’s center that cares for women that are “With Child” to carry their babies to term and deliver them safely. They perform Ultrasounds and prenatal care to anyone that comes to them. Jeremiah 1:5 KJV: Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

We feel strongly that giving of ourselves brings glory to God and will be praying for our next opportunity.
